The Muse Thalia represented comedy, geometry, architecture and agriculture. She was also the protector of the Symposiums. She was portrayed young and smiling, in a seated position wearing a wreath of ivy and holding a comic mask. Other times she was laurel-crowned, wearing a green coat and holding a sign with the inscription ‘’Thalia Komodian’’.
